Great Parks Forever cordially invites you to the 5th annual Root Ball, our celebration with a natural twist. Enjoy an evening of dinner, cocktails, a silent auction and entertainment by musicians from the Newbees. Engage with like-minded community members and corporate partners while you listen to, learn from and connect with fellow nature lovers. The Root Ball, our annual fundraising event, helps us procure critical funds for Great Parks Forever, Great Parks’ philanthropic partner. Great Parks Forever seeks to translate an early conservation promise into everyday experiences and lasting legacies.

TICKETS

All event tickets are on sale now!

Event Ticket (Host or Hostess): $250 per ticket

Hosts & Hostesses will receive additional visibility at the event in recognition of their additional level of support, including recognition on our event webpage, event program book, and event welcome PowerPoint. Host & Hostess reservations received after July 26, 2024 will not be included in the invitation suite but will receive all other benefits.

Event Ticket (Guest): $150 per ticket

Can’t join us for the event? Consider a donation in lieu of a ticket purchase. Donations in support of the Root Ball can be made at https://forever.greatparks.org/give by selecting Root Ball from the drop-down.

HOTEL INFORMATION

Coming in from out of town? Root Ball guests can access a limited, special room rate of $199 plus tax for The Summit Hotel on October 11. This rate will be honored until our group block has been booked, or at the latest, September 20.

GETTING THERE

As a conservation agency, Great Parks encourages carpooling and the use of public transportation. The Summit Hotel is located in Madisonville, less than 10 miles from downtown up I-71 and is on Metro Route 11.

PARKING

The Summit Hotel has paid valet parking available, as well as complimentary self-parking available in The Summit Hotel Parking Garage attached to the hotel. Additional free parking is available in parking lots and in the Madison Square Parking Garage, all located along with The Summit Hotel on Medpace’s campus.
